Just wanted to throw a thread out there were everyone can post what brands/models of pens you use. I'm pretty new to this stuff and would love some input. I am currently using a Pentel RSVP and find it's weight and balance perfect for the moves in the fundamentals post.

Hey.
Most time I use t a RSVP MX, which is a mod of the rsvp. See www.pentrix.com for more information. 2nd Pen I use very often is the RSVP MMT, which is based on the mx, but without the hgg-grip, but a pilot g2 barrel at the front end of the pen to get a higher momentum (rsvp momentum mx). Well, there are other pens like comssa that you will not be able to get that easily.. But it's fine to use a rsvp. Be sure to check out the MX modification! |

I love pencils.. plain and simple.. though some of the times I add an eraser on the other side to make the spinning somewhat easier, I don't mind spinning with a normal pencil with an eraser on only one side.

I have 3 pens I got from Kam, they all kickass but I have NO idea what they are....LOL.... Maybe Kam or Robert can help me with the names... But they all rock... my favorite is the superhandz red pen

Well you got at least 1 MX and a pen thats something bewtween Kams rsvp v2 mod and the mx... The 3rd pen I cant remember, but it's something like that, too.
But you got not the RSVPs that are most time used. I think You have Pentel RSVP Moonz or RazzleDazzle, which have colored bodys. I dont have either so I cannot tell you more about that.. |

I mostly spin unmodded RSVPs with the cap on the back. Because I'm in my undergraduate years of college, I have alot more writing to do in my life yet, so I figure I should get used to spinning something that can write!
 My favorite pens though are the RSVP MX and Metallic Comssa, which is a korean modification of a Computer Sign Pen. Its a double capped marker with Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip metal tips on the caps, and Dong-A Anyball grips on the caps. |

i know that the bic round stick pens are hated by almost all pen spinners, but i personally like it because: 1) they are almost everywhere you go so you can always be prepared even if you don't have a pen with you, 2) once you learn to do a move with a round stick, doing the move with a better spinning pen is a piece of cake, 3)i like writing with them and that is important since i am still a student, 4) i am originally a magician and i have a couple routines with these pens where i can work in pen spinning. but seriously, if you learn a move with a round stick, you can do that move with anything else that is even the slightest bit even resembles a pen.
i also really like the pencil with an eraser on each end, or just one end. i've been using that idea for a while. rsvp's are good too; modded or unmodded -orsha |

I usually spin comSSAs and sometimes RSVP MXs, but i am a reall big fan of the BICtory (BIC roundstic mod made by Mwahaha91).

I like Comssas...but they're so light for my taste :P.
I spin mostly a variant of the RSVP MX (cause HGGRs are not that common). But my favorite as to be my own. XD

I mostly use the "R-Stic"
u can find it at "www.penspinstore.com" it has a body of metal and very heavy metalends. you have to get used to it but when you have got it its really good to spin. specially the Twisted Sonic Multiple Bust works perfect now ^^ good luck and have fun xD |
