This should greatly help you on your search for the perfect De' Ring. I have decided to include bad rings as well just in case you find these on the net like we did and want to purchase them. Please feel free to add to the report, however please do it in the same style that I did. I hope this helps you pick out a ring. It may also steer you away from rings that you though may be good because it's so hard to tell from photos on the internet stores! This report will be an on-going thing, so when you get a ring, please post it up and help the rest of the community! This report is coming directly from our private De' Ring forums. Please use the info at your own risk. MILITARY/CLASS STYLE RINGS Simply the best for Ring Pros! Liberator Ring NAME: Liberator Ring COST: $200-$400 COMPANY: All Star Front Back RATINGS: LOOKS - 10/10 - This ring looks HOT, and is HUGE for maximum impact! SIDE GRIPS - 10/10 - There are great side grips! INSIDE FILL/LIP - 10/10 The fill is perfect, can't get any better than this! OVERALL RATING - 10/10 This is the hardcore pros ring! Yes it's costly, but damn worth it for the working pro. Only down sides is the price, and the fact that it's a military ring.... however the impact of the ring is relentless and consistant. Also the low profile jewel is awesome for drops... I've never had it chip and it's always visible. Can't say enough about this awesome ring! I've dropped it thousands of times and it's still like new. Just the real performers ring! ________________________________________________ Military Style Ring - smooth fill NAME: Gold plated military style Ring - smooth fill COST: $10-30.00 COMPANY: I bought mine from the ranger shop ( http://www.rangershop.de ) for 5 Euros...lol... but they are out of them and can't get any more. I think you can get them elsewhere but we have to search a bit to find these fabulous rings! Front Back RATINGS: LOOKS - 10/10 - This ring looks GREAT, and has a vibrant stone raised to catch eyes and for maximum impact. SIDE GRIPS - 10/10 - There are great side grips! INSIDE FILL/LIP - 10/10 The fill is the best next to the $400+ rings! The lips are as smooth as a baby's ass! Love it Love it LOVE it! OVERALL RATING - 9.5/10 This is one of the best damn rings you'll find for De' Ring, and I got it for 5 Euros! It's sweet looking and super functional! The only downsides is the gold plating and that the stone is raised... meaning that if you drop it frequently you may chip it.. ( I did )... but even then it's not that noticable..lol... All in all, it's a Fabulous ring and if you can find one like this with that AWESOME fill, then snatch it up and let all of us know! ________________________________________________ Military Style Ring open top NAME: Gold plated military style Ring COST: $10-30.00 COMPANY: various - malls, EBAY, and others. It's a fairly common military ring style with different colors and branches of service Front Back RATINGS: LOOKS - 8/10 - This ring looks GREAT, and has a vibrant stone to catch eyes and for maximum impact. SIDE GRIPS - 10/10 - There are great side grips! INSIDE FILL/LIP - 8/10 The fill is very very good! It has a raised top but no lip which is sweet! Watch some of the cheaper versions that may have a thin band toward the bottom, but most of the ones I have work very well. OVERALL RATING - 8.5/10 This is a very good and decently priced ring for doing the core! You can find them at a large variety of places. I personally like the silver ones better than the gold... the gold sticks from time to time but the silver versions do not. Be careful with some of the cheaper open-tops, they may have glass or fragile stones that can shatter or break. Maybe the fake diamonds on the side will turn some people off... but overall it's a great looking ring. SIDE GRIPS - 7/10 - The side grips are on the contour that do work rather well. INSIDE FILL/LIP - 8/10 The fill is surprisingly good. There is a little very small lip on the top... but at least for me, doesn't interfer or bother me. A jeweler should be able to smooth it down for you fairly easily if you do the ring-ons allot or if it bothers you. OVERALL RATING - 7.5/10 This is a great ring to wear out and is surprisingly one of the better ones that I purchased for the price. The Ring-Ons are pretty fast due to the weight and design. I enjoy this ring. If it had a complete inside fill, I could see me using this one allot. I may have to take it down to have the inside fill rounded to see if it makes it even faster and smoother. ________________________________________________ Knights Templar Crest NAME: Knights Templar Crest COST: $24.99 COMPANY: 925 Collections EBAY Front Back RATINGS: LOOKS - 9/10 - This ring looks HOT! SIDE GRIPS - 6.5/10 - There are some side grips but are a little too high. The smooth band is what gets grabbed most of the time. INSIDE FILL/LIP - 7.5/10 The fill is pretty good, with a very small lip in the top. It doesn't bother too much. Every once in a while it grabs me, but not too often. OVERALL RATING - 7/10 This is a great ring to wear out and decent for Ring-Ons. Not a bad ring for doing De' Ring every once in a while... but I wouldn't do it all the time because of the small lip. NONE of the photos do it justice. You have to see it on your finger and how it reacts with the light, just HOTNESS! SIDE GRIPS - 7/10 - The side grips are there and work, but if you polish your ring often, then may become a little on the slick side. INSIDE FILL/LIP - 7.5/10 The fill is surprisingly good considering it isn't a complete fill. The edges are very round and soft If you get a very tight ring it could rub a little on the top, but a correct fitting ring works quite well in my oppinion. OVERALL RATING - 8/10 This is a great ring to wear out especially if you are into cards and is surprisingly one of the better ones that I purchased for the price. I really enjoy this ring. The only concerns are the side grips when they get slick and sometimes hard to hold onto.... but mostly just after polishing... gotta pay attention with this ring... also watch the size.. the one I had was about .5 of a size smaller than what they said it was... Besides those 2 things, this is one great ring! Heck, even if you don't do De' Ring, buy it anyway! I am that fond of it! " src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif"> ________________________________________________ Silver Spade Poker Ring NAME: Silver Spade Poker Ring COST: $19.99 COMPANY: 925 collections.com Front Back RATINGS: LOOKS - 8/10 - This ring looks GREAT, and has a lots of stones to catch eyes. Down size is that they are fake... so if that bothers you, then this is the wrong ring for you... but it's still a cool ring in my oppinion. SIDE GRIPS - 10/10 - There are great side grips! INSIDE FILL/LIP - 5/10 Like some of the other novelty rings it has a semi-sharp inside lip! Sometimes it doesn't bother anything and other times it catches you good. You may be able to get it smoothed down a bit and if you could, that would RULE! OVERALL RATING - 6.75/10 This ring has all the makings of a fantastic De' Ring Ring.... but the inside lip messes it up! It really isn't too bad... but still the lip can and does catch up to you... making the rating drop. In the end, it's a cool ring to wear and you can bust out a ring on at your own risk. ________________________________________________ Black Jack Ring NAME: "Aces" Brass COST: $19 COMPANY: 925 Collections EBAY Front Back RATINGS: LOOKS - 9/10 - This ring looks great for visuals! SIDE GRIPS - 8/10 - There are some side grips that work decently. INSIDE FILL/LIP - 5/10 There is a lip around the top of the ring that sometimes grabs the top of your finger. The inside band itself is smooth, but that stops as the band goes up to the sides as you can see in the photo. OVERALL RATING - 6/10 This is a great ring to wear out. I love the overall look, and you CAN do ring-ons with it, however the inside lip does tend to grab you and can give you some trouble. It likes to scrape your finger a little when you put it on which is certainly not recommened. This is not a "Ring-On" ring. It's more for going out and looking good. I think that frequent use of this ring may cause you some trouble.... _________________________________________________ Claw Ring NAME: Claw Ring COST: $? -was a gift, but similar rings are about $25.00 (maybe not .925 sterling like mine) COMPANY: ? - was a gift but you can find on a search Front Back RATINGS: LOOKS - 9/10 - This ring looks great for visuals! SIDE GRIPS - 6/10 - There are some side grips on the side with the 2 claws. If you put your thumb on that side, it works great! INSIDE FILL/LIP - 9/10 Depsite the design, the fill is VERY good! The one that I have is VERY smooth and level! Amazingly! OVERALL RATING - 7/10 This is a great ring to wear out or to use for Ring-Ons. The only concern is making sure that you always get your thumb on the 2-claw side. If you try it on the other side, it's VERY difficult! Overall, a GREAT ring! ________________________________________________ Dragonis Celtica NAME: Dragonis Celtica COST: $39 COMPANY: Dragonweave - http://www.dragonweave.com/gothic-dragon-rings.html Front Back RATINGS: LOOKS - 10/10 - This ring looks HOT! SIDE GRIPS - 6/10 - There are some side grips on the side that work decently INSIDE FILL/LIP - 6.5/10 The fill is decent... and the lip is not sharp, but is ribbed and off balanced. OVERALL RATING - 6/10 This is a great ring to wear out and ok for Ring-Ons but not spectacular. It seems to want to get kinked up from time to time. Maybe because of it's light weight or maybe because of the design with the thin ribbed band. I bought a slightly larger one and it worked 10 times better than when I got the "perfect" sized ring... that one got kinked all the time and was very hard to ring-on. The slightly larger one works ok... but not my ideal "De' Ring" ________________________________________________ Dragon Ring NAME: Dragon Master's Ring COST: $195 COMPANY: The Franklin Mint - http://www.franklinmint.com/product1.aspx?SID=2&Product_ID=7831 Front Back RATINGS: LOOKS - 9/10 - This ring looks great for visuals! SIDE GRIPS - 8/10 - There are some side grips on the side that work well INSIDE FILL/LIP - 3/10 Depsite the design, the fill and lip suck!!! Scraping, rubbing and the edge is sharp. OVERALL RATING - 4/10 This is a great ring to wear out but NOT for Ring-Ons. It's the first fantasy manipulation ring that I bought. I loved the visuals however the edge was sharp and the fill was horrible! So I had it polished, resized and the edges rounded which is why the gold on my ring was gone... they polished it all away...lol... I dropped the ring just a few times and it bent the hell out of the band as you saw in De' Ring itself. The other thing is that the top is SO heavy, and the band is so light, making it very akward to manipulate! It just sucks to be honest. So bottom line, great visual ring to wear, sucks for manipulation. ________________________________________________ Oval black tiger eye NAME: Oval black tiger eye COST: $18.99 COMPANY: 925 collections.com Front Back RATINGS: LOOKS - 8.5/10 - This ring looks GREAT, and the tiger eye rules! I do love the look of this ring! SIDE GRIPS - 10/10 - There are decent side grips! INSIDE FILL/LIP - 3/10 The fill is one of the worst yet! It has a brutal sharp edge inside of the ring that will jack you the hell up if you aren't careful! I would NOT do ring-ons with this. Sure you can if you go slow and are careful... but speed up once and you may be fucked! Even if you had the edge filed down, I think it would still be fairly worthless... OVERALL RATING - 4/10 This is a very good if you aren't sliding it around your finger... if you want to do De' Ring with it, then forget it... it's not safe and to me it's downright dangerous at times. Stylish, smooth, and very very classy GRYPHON ROLL CAPATABILITY - 7.5/10 - Works pretty well. It has that smooth concave design that I like so much INSANITY LADDER CAPATABILITY - 7/10 - This ring is decent for the Insanity Ladder. My personal tastes are for a little thicker/heavier ring, but this will still work decently.OVERALL RATING - 7.5/10 This is a really cool ring to wear especially if you are a magician! It's a very powerful magnet that can let you do "PK" effects if you are in to them. This ring allows you to do the band effects as well. Just beware that because they are magnets, they are made from delicate material and can easily break if you aren't careful... good news is that they have an incredible return policy that you can check out on their website. They are very polished and smooth all around. I really enjoy these rings! ________________________________________________ Barbed Tribal NAME: Barbed Tribal COST: $12-30 COMPANY: I found mine at hot topic in the mall, however I've seen similar rings on mens rings sites such as - http://www.mensjewelryclub.com/ststtrpari.html Chrome RATINGS: LOOKS - 8.5/10 - This ring looks Great! Love the chrome look! GRYPHON ROLL CAPATABILITY - 7/10 - This ring is a bit wider and heavier ring than others so it is ok for the Gryphon Roll. Thinner bands work better. INSANITY LADDER CAPATABILITY - 10/10 - This ring is my favorite Insanity Ladder Ring! The surical steel ring is heavy and easy to control. It has a wider band and rolls smoothly! The ring is VERY tough and I've dropped it a ton of times and it works just as well as ever! OVERALL RATING - 8/10 This is a really cool ring to wear especially and THE RING if you are into the Isanity Ladder! Not much else to say but it rocks the house! ________________________________________________ Greek design Ring NAME: Greek Design Ring COST: $19.99 COMPANY: Men's Jewelery Club Front RATINGS: LOOKS - 8/10 - This ring looks Great! The greek key is etched into the ring which is good and bad GRYPHON ROLL CAPATABILITY - 7/10 - it works well, a little smooth/slick... also it's a very flat type of band. INSANITY LADDER CAPATABILITY - 7/10 - Works decently.... weight is ok... I just personally prefer thicker and heavier rings for the ladder. OVERALL RATING - 7.5/10 This is a great ring to wear out and is pretty decent for both of the band moves/routines. A little thin for me personally and I'm not a fan of this type of etching... but I think that's purely personal. A good ring overall. ________________________________________________ Induction Ring NAME: Induction Ring COST: $39.00 COMPANY: Dragon Weave Front RATINGS: LOOKS - 10/10 - Now this is my kind of ring!!!!!!!! WOW! Just plain love it! GRYPHON ROLL CAPATABILITY - 5/10 - it is a very thick band and is probably not the best for this move. INSANITY LADDER CAPATABILITY - 8/10 - This ring is awesome for the Insanity Ladder. It's almost got a track down the middle that rocks for it. It isn't as heavy as I'd like to control the speed, but it is still very good. OVERALL RATING - 7.5/10 This is a great ring to wear out and is rocks the Insanity Ladder! You just don't want to drop it very often. I found it can get knicked up pretty good... however it's not too noticeable...lol.. the band has a gothic look and blends well. It sucks for the gryphon roll in my oppinion... but damn.. what a sweet looking ring! ________________________________________________ Laser cut Dragon Ring NAME: Laser cut Dragon Ring COST: $19.49 COMPANY: Mens jewerly club Front Back RATINGS: LOOKS - 7/10 - This ring looks great with the burn out of the dragon but it is a little hard to see at times especially if you are not up very close. GRYPHON ROLL CAPATABILITY - 8/10 - it is a very good band for this move because it is slightly concaved. At least I personally prefer this. It seems much easier to grab the ring and let go because of the curved band. INSANITY LADDER CAPATABILITY - 7.5/10 - This ring is good for the Insanity Ladder. I like the concaved bands... they seem to work well for both band moves. I would personally like it a little heavier for the I.L....but it still works decently for me. OVERALL RATING - 7.5/10 This is a decent ring to wear out and works very good for both ring moves. It may be a little on the light side... but still a very good ring. ________________________________________________ Life Death Ringband NAME: Life Death Ringband COST: $37.00 COMPANY: Dragon Weave Front Back RATINGS: LOOKS - 8.5/10 - This ring looks HOT! It's great to show people. The word life is turned over to read death... and they alternate. What a cool kickass ring! GRYPHON ROLL CAPATABILITY - 7/10 - You can do it, but it may be a little thick. The edges aren't that great for it either, but it's not horrible. INSANITY LADDER CAPATABILITY - 7/10 - This ring is just ok for the Insanity Ladder. Not heavy enough for my personal tastes, but not horrible. OVERALL RATING - 7/10 This is a really cool ring to wear out and show your audiences.. people really like it! As far as for performing, I personally don't rely on it. Not my personal taste for doing the bonus moves. Also it doesn't withstand drops too well. SIDE GRIPS - 10/10 Grips are good but its the outer rim of the bezel that really gives the great hold for the ring-ons. INSIDE FILL/LIP - 10/10 Complete inside fill OVERALL RATING 9/10 I almost didnt go for this one but Im glad I did as the large blue stone really gives a pop when doing a ring-on. The color really stands out and that is really what you want, something that grabs the audiences attention. Sometimes its more about what other people will react to than what we might think looks cool. Oh, and it is silver, the picture came out looking gold and the stone came out kind of greenish (it's really a carribean blue). I probably need to retake the pictures with white light instead of yellow to get more of a feel for how it really looks. Si la vida te da la espalda, agarrale el trasero!!

INSIDE FILL/LIP - 8/10 The fill is almost perfect, but as you can see, it still has that damn little hole under the stone but it is the smallest hole Ive seen yet in these cheap rings and Ive never had it snag on my skin during a ring-on. OVERALL RATING 7/10 I give this ring a 7 out of 10 mainly because the band had been resized when I received it new and when I say resized I mean that the band was significantly thinner from the resizing. I dropped it once on a hard floor and the band was warped (I fixed it using a ring mandrel). Si la vida te da la espalda, agarrale el trasero!!

Walmart or walmart.com has that ring in valadium (jewlers metal) for $166. The only draw back is that is says emt, firefighter, or police officer. It works well for em cause I am a emt. I will post pics in 4 - 6 weeks when i recieve it.

It's light, lacks fill, and will cut you if you even try to go fast. The stone with the dragon is loose because of the cheap way they're using to hold it in..four folding metal clips.
