I took the framed print in to the magic shop today to let everyone get a gander at it. It was a HUGE hit. The shop has always been accepting on alternative
non-magic things, like XCM, pen spinning, contact juggling, etc, so has always been a source of XCM stuff since before I was on the site, and how I met the
other local XCMer, so let me preface this by "this shop is not run by haters." It is family owned, and called Williams Magic (Williamsmagic.com) and
they loved the print. Several hours I was there, and people helped me find some of the hidden stuff. It blew everyone away the depth of the picture, even more
than the quality. 3 hours in and people were still pouring over it. Magicians (non-haters) wanted it, XCMers vowed to get one, and I had to spend the day
telling the quick version of the war that sparked the print (which kept getting quicker and quicker). Several magicians may or may not even go the distance to
figure out how to order one; and interestingly enough the one most gungho about it is quite famous I believe, 3 times president of the local magicians guild,
and responsible for organizing many local shows. Can I hope that he may be a fan of XCM?
Long story short; it got a lot of attention for XCM, especially from the non-magic crowd who either accompanied magician friends/family or came in on their own, and I'm hoping we might see some XCMers out here in Tucson soon, to fill out the ranks. All 2 of us here are a little lonely.
